Stopped in while headed back home to Miami for a quick bite and restroom break to receive the worst customer service ever. First off the store was empty in the inside far as customers and drive thru had two cars and it was a full house of workers. As we had our order taken by Promise the dark skin short lady with dreadlocks we requested a 2 piece dark w/2 thighs with Mac & mash with a jalapeño pepper and another 2 piece with white meat mac & fries she asked for a name and when she were given the name her response was that’s her mom name anywho we also asked for fresh chicken because it were a few pieces up but looked kind of old and She told us ok it will be 12 minutes and the cook was already was preparing to drop a fresh batch anyways remind you we had a quick friendly chat as the order being took We use the restroom and went to wait in the car for the chicken to come up. The store was still empty maybe 2 or 3 people came in while we were waiting one was serve the chicken the was already sitting up on the heater and was in & out the other person wait for the fresh chicken she stood in the store when the chicken came up she was served that’s how we know the chicken was done when we went back inside for our food a couple came in with us and Promise started to take their order and prepare ours. She asked us will we like something else to replace the fries because it was none ready and it will be 3 minutes my thing was she know that the fry station was empty and should’ve notified the cook when he dropped the chicken but l didn’t make a deal about it and just asked for 2 Macs and when we received our food and sit in the car we noticed it was one Mac and 3 mash so we took it back because I don’t eat mash at all and it supposed to been 3 Mac and 1 Mac but originally 2 Mac 1 mash and 1 fry. She which out the 2 mashed and have us the Mac we went back inside for our the car to eat and realized she have us both orders all white meat my sister went to change to 2 thighs Promise told my she is need to make up her mind like if we were the ones just keyed in anything in the computer when we went to like at the receipt you can tell she don’t take her job serious because she did ever typed in our order how we wanted which would’ve allow her to know exactly what we wanted and how…she began to go back and forward with us because she was all over the place the manager got in evolved l can’t even get his name because she was over talking everyone even him l want to thank he for trying to control her in the situation we left out and she was still talking.. l even told her remember that it’s her job not mines to jeopardize but l can tell l’m big on customer service l told her everybody don’t overlook rudeness and disrespect…she (PROMISE) should not be a there going back and forward with the customer she don’t even respect authority just Loud Rude & Obnoxious in front of all the customers and to the customers … There is no way she will be working for my business with an bad attitude...
Read moreMy husband and I went to the Palatka location on Monday (5/19) and went inside. The entire restaurant was hot. The employees looked miserable and agitated, though nice enough. We were informed they had no fries or Mac n cheese. We ordered 3 pc tenders with mash and coleslaw and a 8 pc family meal with mash and red beans and rice. We got home and realized the 3 pc tender was a leg, thigh and breast. The mash and gravy had other food in it and the biscuits were hard around the outside. Giving the benefit of doubt and maybe an off day, we went back on Tuesday and used the drive thru. We sat at the speaker for 15 mins and was never greeted. We finally drove around to the window where we sat another 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. The manager saw us and held a finger up then disappeared for almost an additional 5 mins. Opened the window with an attitude, proceeded to tell us they were still out of Mac n cheese, fries and now biscuits as well. We ordered another 8pc family meal and the manager immediately and aggressively stated we don't have biscuits tho. We said that was fine since we wanted the second size to be a large. As someone who worked restaurant management for over 15 years, the least that could have been done was to not charge for the upsize of one side in replacement of the missing biscuits. Overall the experience was horrible. The food was understandable, sometimes restaurants just run out, but being ignored for 20 mins and the attitude of the manager for absolutely no reason was absurd. Stop putting people with zero customer service skills in these positions. Will not be using this location...
Read moreHere goes, My son and I were passing through the town where this Popeyes is located and decided to stop to get something to eat. It had been a long day and we were famished. Rather than going through the drive thru we walked in and ordered our food to go. After we had already left the restaurant we found that our chicken was borderline timed out, they gave us no napkins (Hello! We are eating fried chicken, a person eating fried chicken NEEDS napkins!), and to top it off they gave us no utensils. Maybe they thought that if we don't need napkins while eating fried chicken, then we don't need utensils to eat mashed potatoes, and red beans and rice. And that brings me to my next complaint, the red beans and rice. The rice and beans were hard and flavorless. Please answer one question, how do you make flavorless red beans and rice? Yuck! Maybe this was a bad day for the manager or the cook or another staff member. I don't know. But maybe on my way back thru that little town I'll stop and see if my experience...
