Indiana Dunes State Park Gatehouse and Parking — Attraction in Chesterton

Screw this place. Drove 200 miles and we all know how cheap gas is these days. Have spent all day looking for access to the beach. Anywhere. And we can't find one. They all say full. No Entry. That's ok though. I just won't ever be back. My wife really wanted to see the lake cuz she's a small town girl and has never seen anything like it. Maybe it was just because of the weekend but everything here, except for the water, was disgusting. Bathrooms were gross. Changing rooms smelt like urine. There were so many rude people, my family was constantly getting bumped into and shoved by people who just had no care about anyone else. To find out they only allow swimming on the weekends...in the middle of summer...asked if I could be refunded if I leave (only been here 15 minutes) as that is litterally half the reason I came here, only to be told no refunds.
