I like the services she rendered except she was on the rude sarcastic side with me. I'm an older lady. I really surprised at the lack of respect, after a couple of visits and dollars. One of the first disrespectful things that peaked my notice was a comment she made to me, I had told her that I hurt my leg recently and it was hard to get around. She asked me sarcastically, in front of her customer how did u hurt it playing football? I was a lil shocked because I wasnt feeling good and she said it on the nasty side. I notice, in my dealing with some African braiders, being light skinned & familiarity breeds contempt. I keep telling myself keep it strictly biz so I can keep going back and feeling comfortable. She is a good braider but I just did not like the way she interacted with me after several visits I just noticed she said I cursed . I'm 55+ and yes I did curse at her after she disrespected me in front of a teen ager. This is her personality. I told her she needed to stop F disrespecting. After she installed a weave, Virgin hair that cost me money, she put grease in it and it looked terrible. Then she proceeded to disrespect me when I questioned her about it. She told me she wasn't going to correct it. That's when my nice bytch came out. I hate wasting money. She did my hair over after I went and purchased new hair. I wasted 80$ plus 150$ for the installation and 30$ 4 new hair that was crochet with her. I c though in addition to being disrespectful to a senior person she's a liar 2. UPDATE: My first set of braids lasted four weeks with minimal frizzing. I went today after work and got four cornrows. She was gentle on my edges and had my 4C texture hair laid! It took about 30 minutes and very reasonably priced. Date: 5.25.2022

I called to make a same day appointment and Lorla told me to come at noon. Around 10am she called me back and asked if I could come earlier. I was in and out in under two hours. Lorla was gentle and didn't pull on my edges. She didn't braid it too tight either.

This is one of the few braid shops I've been to that will shampoo, conditioner & blow dry your hair for an additional fee. They also have purple & blue hair color options. 10/10 would...

Just took my braids down. They lasted 4 weeks. I had knotless. First of all, the shop is extremely small and very dirty, making for an uncomfortable visit. Add to that the ghetto environment. The shop owner made a few disparaging remarks about Americans. She also used straightening products on my hair without my knowledge or permission. I was getting braids, so the straightening products were not necessary and damaged my natural hair. My hair turned out decent, but I'm going to return to the shop that I had been going to before since they had better customer service. I just wanted to try a place with a lower rate.
