Mt. Hood, Oregon: A Stunning Encounter with Snow-Capped Mountains and Nature š Mt. Hood, the highest peak in Oregon, is not only a magnificent dormant volcano but also a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Some say it resembles Japanās Mount Fuji, but in my eyes, it has its own unique and captivating charm. Snow-capped mountains, farms, waterfalls, and lakes create a breathtaking landscape here. š Accommodation Recommendations: The nearby town of Government Camp offers a variety of affordable hotels and cabins. Glorious Mt Hood Condo is a great option, or if youāre on a budget, consider Airbnbāmany locals rent out rooms in the area. šø Must-Visit Spots: **Trillium Lake**: No need to travel farājust park your car and enjoy the stunning reflection of the snow-capped mountain. Itās especially magical during sunrise and sunset. Donāt forget your $5 pass and cash! **Mirror Lake**: A must-see for mountain and lake views, but be prepared for a 3.6-mile hike to get there. **Timberline Lodge**: Built in 1937, this hotel sits at the base of the mountain, and its majestic exterior can be admired from the parking lot. Inside, thereās a shop for souvenirs, and outside, comfortable benches let you relax and soak in the mountain views. **Hood River Lavender Farm**: Visit in July to pick your own lavender with the snow-capped mountain as a backdropāperfect for photos! **Paradise Park Loop Trail**: Starting from Timberline Lodge, this 12.4-mile trail offers incredible natural scenery. **Tamanawas Falls Trail**: A famous waterfall trail, 3.6 miles long, where every step feels like walking through a painting. **Mt. Hood Meadows Waterfalls**: Just a 0.2-mile walk from the parking lot takes you to Umbrella Falls, and another 1.3 miles leads to the more spectacular Sahalie Falls. š Driving Tips: Oregonās beauty is best enjoyed by car. Plan your route in advance, bring your camera and a good mood, and start your Mt. Hood adventure! #Oregon #Portland #PortlandTravel #OregonTravel #USATravel #RoadTrip #Hiking #SnowMountain #Waterfalls #TravelGuide #MyTravelDiary #Outdoors #TravelSnapshots #TravelWithXiaohongshu #DayTrip
