NIH Commercial Vehicle Inspection Facility — Attraction in Chevy Chase

I find it odd that Google wants me to review this place but okay...

You pull in, you look for the proper line to get in so they can check out your car and you park and they make sure you're not taking any Contraband into the NIH campus you also go inside and get in line so you can get cleared to go in while you're busy checking your car.

The people were professional and the process was fairly painless but it did take a little while.

You want me to go in this place if you have to go on to NIH and you don't have a permit already.

Some days they have it together most days they dont. Get here early in the morning if at all possible. Inspection takes about 10-30 minutes depending which lane you go enter.
