I recently visited the Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park, and it was an unforgettable experience. This geothermal wonderland is the hottest and most dynamic part of Yellowstone, constantly changing and offering a unique glimpse into the Earth's inner workings. The Porcelain Basin is a must-see, with its stunning array of colorful hot springs, bubbling pools, and hissing steam vents. The contrast of vivid blues, greens, and whites against the stark, barren landscape is otherworldly. The boardwalks are well-maintained, allowing for safe and close-up views of the geothermal features without disturbing the delicate ecosystem. A highlight of the Norris Geyser Basin is Steamboat Geyser, the world's tallest active geyser. While its major eruptions are unpredictable, we were fortunate to witness a minor eruption, which was still impressive. The Back Basin offers a more wooded setting with some spectacular features like Echinus Geyser and Emerald Spring. The trails are well-marked and offer informative signs that provide insight into the geology and history of the area. Overall, the Norris Geyser Basin is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Yellowstone. It's a place where you can truly appreciate the power and beauty of nature. Highly recommended!

Norris basin has two areas of gysers. The northen loop has more gysers closer together if you are in a time crunch. These gysers are also large ans colorfull then the back loop gysers. If you have the time and energy, doing both loops is worth the while but will take up most of a day. The back loop is non paved trails which make the hike more of a true nature experince.

This is an under rated attraction in Yellowstone. In my opinion, this is the most picturesque place. The best time to visit is in the morning and I suggest to take the north loop first. Then take the south loop for the largest geyser in the world, Steamboat Geyser.

Beautiful and unique results of nature's inner workings. We love to come here and just sit and look. It is very relaxing... although Constant Geyser's name suggests that it goes off predictably, that is no longer the case. The ranger I spoke to said that the geyser is now quite random in its behavior. Sometimes it will go off multiple times a day, sometimes it will not go off for days. We were lucky enough to see it go off...
