North Carolina State Fair — Attraction in Cary

This is a rating for Brantley’s Italian Sausage and Hot Dogs. In my 20+ years of visiting the NC State fair, never have I been treated more rudely than today at this food stand. 3 of our family members bought our lunch at this stand and three of us bought from the neighbors booth because we wanted shrimp which this booth didn’t sell. When we tried to sit with our family they wouldn’t allow us because we had “outside” food. I might understand if there tables were full and they had a long line, however neither was the case today. Perhaps your empty tables have something to do with your unwelcoming disposition. Families take your money elsewhere! Hey Brantley”s and the man in the green polo, kindness goes a long way. You’ve lost our family business for life and I will continue to share this experience...

October 2024: TO THE PERSON WORKING GATE 7 EXIT. HE LET OTHERS TAKE A SHORT CUT AND WHEN WE GO HE TELLS US TO GO AROUND. THEN HE GOT MAD WHEN I TOLD HIM TO TELL EVERYONE! AN EXIT IS AN EXIT! OR AT LEAST CLOSE IT OFF AND REMOVE THE "EXIT" SIGN FROM IT!

Additional comments: Also, for some reason A LOT of the staff are driving golf carts dangerously! Imagine if they plow down a small child or animal. They purposely drive towards you so you get out of the way. The park is obviously a huge area. I'm sure walking a lot is in the job description. It should be common sense. With how busy it gets, and they're blindly driving golf carts.... this is a lawsuit...

The state fair offers awesome attractions. However, it needs an operational upgrade. At one point it was so crowded by the grandstand the crowd was gridlocked and pushing against each other. It was impossible to walk. Lines and wait times were incredibly long. Worst of all, there was zero available parking. We ended up parking at the art museum after sitting in traffic for about an hour. We had to walk on the side of the road with crowds, with no sidewalks, street lights, police, cones...nothing. I would have never brought children here if I knew how unsafe just navigating to and within the...
