Serena Grove 2 Apartments — Attraction in Aldine

I recently transferred units in this complex, and the experience was frustrating. My new unit wasn’t ready on 9/30 as promised (they were still installing carpet), so I moved in on 10/01. However, they still charged me prorated rent for 9/30 — a day I couldn’t even access the apartment. When I asked to have the lease updated to reflect the actual move-in date, they said they’d have to charge me month-to-month prorated rent from old unit for 10/01–10/03 — giving me no free of charge time to move my belongings even though they offered that time as a to move my things without mentioning about paying double rent. It felt misleading and unfair. Before that. I was on a month-to-month lease, and asked to stay in my current unit at the new market rate (which is a reasonable request). They refused that request, forcing me into a transfer. Now the transfer unit wasn't ready, and you’re being charged confusing, possibly unfair fees — including for days you couldn’t access the new unit. facing inconsistent communication and feel you’re being penalized for pushing back. I’ve done transfers here before, but this one showed a lack of professionalism and care to tenants. No corporate office just the same people doing whatever they want. Been living...

Ghetto... The security personnel they hired hangs out with the ilegal drug users that live here. They have very limited parking space and won't let your visitors park anywhere on property. If you have visitors and there's no space left in the visitor parking section they expect you (without informing you) to have your visitors parked out side on the street or else they will tow the car and if your car ever gets a flat over night or if your tire gets low they consider it a flat and tow away your vehicle. the office personal who ever answers the phone it's a girl . she's always RUDE WITH POOR MANNERS AND AN UGLY ATTITUDE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE LIVING HERE EVER SINCE THEY CHANGED FROM BEING SAVANNAH AT CITY VIEW TO ROCKRIDGE SQUARE. THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS OF VERY LOW QUALITY..... OH AND THEY MAKE RAISES ON RENT WAY MORE OFTEN. very UNSATISFIED with the management. please safe yourself the trouble of ever having to deal with rockridge square and take your money and family elsewhere where you can truly feel at home...

Let me start by saying I live in this apartments’ sister property and moved in with no headache!

BUT ROCKRIDGE SQUARE; The manager verified my rental history without an application fee, admin fee, or my consent (did not turn in an application yet). I know this because when I called to bring the app, app fee, and admin fee the manager said “Oh don’t worry! Take your time! I spoke with our sister property and you have excellent rental history with them!”

After providing her with the proper paperwork and my place of employment sending over an employment verification (that they rushed my job to complete and return) I was asked to provide tax returns and bank statements because my checks LOOKED FAKE.

I feel like I was targeted because I’m a black woman who is financially stable and I will defiantly be reaching out to corporate for some sort of resolution because I feel extremely targeted and that’s unacceptable in...
