Serena Village 1 Apartments — Local services in Houston

I'm only giving this place 4 stars because it's not the neighborhood that's bad it's the residents not having any respect to turn down their music and respect other neighbors living around them. When I first moved here I loved it and there was no issues. I had no roaches, no noise complaints, nothing. But for the past few months I've been dealing with loud neighbors, roaches suddenly coming through small holes in my kitchen(which I treated the area to avoid this issue upon moving in), feces in the play area and all on the sidewalks so my kids can't enjoy this space, and the smell of animal urine throughout the building area I moved in to. This place was once my peace and quiet but now has become my nightmare and I'm ready to move.

Update to 1 star: new neighbors moved in beside and behind me and they're worse than the previous, mod cars and motorcycles on main road getting worse. And surprise surprise, I complained about the noises and woke up to dog poop on my porch, the ppl making noise knocked on my door asking what the issue is amd bring told by security there's nothing they can do about the stomping , screaming and slamming doors. All my rights as a tenant here have been violated and I no longer feel safe in my home. I'm exhausted and overwhelmed. No one should have to live like this.

Lived here for nearly 5 years! At first it was okay. Management changed about 3 times and so did the apartment name which is weird! Apartments are in a flood zone even though they told new neighbors below me it wasn’t! So if you move in on the first floor is was definitely flooded before by greens bayou! The water gates they have do not work! Your lights will go out randomly. Maintenance is a joke, you will have to call them back out for the exact same repairs! Even witnessed an maintenance man back up into a woman’s vehicle and drive off, after asking the head maintenance Carlos was she going to be notified he just laughed! They brought be a used stove and refrigerator from another unit that had roaches! The updates they did outside the apartments was just a coat of paint! My door had rust on them and the new paint ended up coming right off! Gutters still pour out water everywhere when it rains hard and the walkway will be covered with water quickly! They do have car vandalism especially around the holidays! 2 different murders as well, might be why they changed the name which was formerly Durham at city view! I would not recommend these apartments at...

I really hope you guys don't go through what i went through while living here. if you are looking for a clean and safe space for your family this is not the place. first i want to start off by saying that the management in this place is horrible. Alexis and Aimee are the worst in trying to help you. i lived here for only 6 months. people do not respect your privacy. people don't take care of there animals or clean up after them. the reserve spots are not visible (after supposedly having them come and doing them "again". above that we lived in this apartment and have had serious health problems in the photos below you'll see a MOLE INFESTATION (I REPEAT MOLE INFESTATION. management tried to cover it up by allowing strangers to come in into our apartment ( to clean it ) with no notice while we were NOT HOME. people are so dirty here that place is filled with trash on all corners of the apartment complex. they don't replace carpets!! I'm already talking to my lawyer about what steps to take.
