Maintenance is GREAT! Very nice and on time responding to work orders. My only problem is the RATS! My mother is elderly and can’t do much for herself, so it is on me to keep everything nice and clean. Absolutely no one should have to live this way and reading other reviews, it seems as though this has been an ongoing issue FOR A VERY LONG TIME, so what exactly is going to be done? It really hurts to see the snobby responses from the property management and owners. That shows you the kind of customer service that you will be receiving if you decide to move here. My mother has only been here a few months and her experience with Astrid is something I wouldn’t wish for anyone. The apartments have potential but management and pests are ridiculous. UPDATE: The rat situation is so much better so thanks for that! ESTEFANY “Asst. Manager” is extremely rude. The service is getting RIDICULOUS and absolutely NOTHING is changing aside from Astrid being a lot nicer than before, so that is well appreciated. On the other hand, “Stephanie” is back and had negative things to say about former asst. manager Clarissa, who has been gone for a while now by the way, and the way Stephanie spoke about her is extremely unprofessional. I see that my review is the only of all that has not had a response so again, that shows A LOT. My mother is not a complicated or problematic resident so this is coming from someone who hardly has encounters with the office but when we do, they are horrible. The last thing is the gym is closed and according to another resident who has been here the last past 12 years, it hasn’t been opened in about 6 YEARS. Again, the apartments have potential and maintenance is great. However, the customer service is terrible and can use assistance in changing.
Update: I have to agree with the residents when they say RACISM here is UNMATCHED! I’m not sure how many more complaints we have to put in to the apartment association about property management, specifically Astrid and Catherine, before there is something done about it. Office staff have targeted people of a certain race over the course of the last past year with petty lies such as marijuana and when asked personally for them to come and investigate they give bs excuses as to why they cannot, then REMOVE the notice/complaint saying not to worry about it. That was not the first racist encounter! I’ve asked neighbors, who have now moved out if they experienced the same thing and without a doubt they agree. Rats and roaches are still having a party in the units, management is rude and unprofessional, nothing has changed, and the smell of sewage every other day is absolutely disgusting. I guess security is now gone, AGAIN. Gates are broken and cars are constantly broken into. I have reached out on many occasions via to the office and the apartment association and nothing has helped. I really wish things would change, as I said before, the apartments could have potential but management has to do better with the professionalism and how a specific race of residents...
Read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Floor plans and environment is good but management is despicable. I had been warned about this by a previous occupant so I just tried to avoid the managers. When I was gonna move out, I kept calling for 2 weeks so I could get my pro-rated rent and they kept postponing till I insisted they tell me over the phone which was on the 3rd of the month and they CHARGED me a late fee. I dropped off my keys and expected an inspection, but I was told to leave and that my security deposit check would be mailed to me. But then they conveniently called me the next day to say not only was I not getting the $300 check, I was also owing $31. With the COVID-19 epidemic, all apartments should be cleaned up after they have been vacated, but I guess I had to pay for this one. I was charged $35 to clean a microwave that is worth under $40, $20 to wipe the countertop, $35 to clean the bathroom floor, $35 to clean the fridge, $20 to clean the toilet but another $35 for the tub. The price list is almost funny.
During the lockdown, the office was locked, so when i got a new car, I couldn't get the parking tag. 2 days after getting the car, it was towed at 12:36am, and the reason the office gave was "there was lack of communication, we forgot to tell the towing company not to tow any car". I had to pay about $250 to get my car. This is a brief summary of things because are lots more. I am not one to complain about service as long as I get my money's worth but unnecessary expenses is not something to be happy about. I have always made my payments in time so I did not expect to be robbed this...
Read moreDO NOT LEASE HERE. From the rude lady in the office to the roaches to never being able to find parking. There is always an issue and when I need to contact the office there is always a snobby encounter with the one particular lady. There is no urgency to fulfill work orders when placed, I have to call to see when is maintenance coming. It took them 4 months to come and put a new dishwasher in my unit. Recently came into the office because of a broken window and was told the maintenance would come to measure the damage and then i would be notified about the cost to pay and then they will repair it. A week later I have to call and see whats the status on the work order because I haven’t heard from anyone let alone maintenance coming to check the damage, no one answered. I go to the office and talk to Stephanie about it and she tells me that they’re trying to evacuate residents due to a tree knocking down a whole staircase to one building during a storm. Basically their needs come before mine regardless of me placing the work order a week prior. No urgency or communication. Once they finally come and fix the window it looks nothing like it was before. Fyi not all units are renovated like the pictures. Steer away from this complex. I will not be renewing my lease here.
Update: They have new staff working in the office and so far all of my needs have been met within a timely manner. No...
