Do NOT buy from this store. initially gave the store five stars and a rave review for the great selection and service. My mistake because I had to wait several weeks for my expensive sofa to be delivered only for it to be, well, the pictures speak a thousand words. The leather is not actually tacked to the frame, the covering also not tacked down, and the feet won't go on because the bolt holes are messed up.
I immediately called the store, nicely explain the issue and Dalton pretends they care and that they're going to help me, But please send pictures to this phone number of all of the defects on this furniture that cost more than $2300. (in all, I spent $6k on furniture) I send the pictures and a short time later I am sent a message telling me I need to deal with corporate and faceless people who hide behind a computer. I called the store back to clarify, is Dalton not helping like he just said? The guy who answers the phone tells me Dalton is now not available (I can hear Dalton tell the guy to tell me he is not available) Ok, did I just get pushed off to corporate even though Dalton said he's going to help me personal? answer: well that's how we deal with furniture issues - you have to go the corporate process. I have not even taken the plastic wrap off this very expensive sofa, and Dalton just told me on the phone that he is personally going to help. now, minutes later, you're telling me just kidding? answer: yes.
I click on the link to go through the corporate route and the link shows me exactly what everybody with my last name has purchased from this store and how much they spent - turns out you can look up EVERYBODYs purchase history, which I think is a huge invasion of everyone's privacy
regardless, I find my purchase and click. I am required to give additional information, which the website says is necessary before I can take the next steps to file a complaint to get furniture that's actually not defective. I do it, click next and and it says, I am not able to file a complaint. it was just to register me so now I have to go in and file fill out an entire new profile even though they already have all my information. It's an endless black hole of giving them information and not being able to actually say here's the problem. After I fill in all kinds of personal info, the website finally tells me, I CANNOT submit warrant claim on line, I need to call this 800 number and press one. First of all it's not a warranty issue because you gave me garbage to start with - I have never even unwrapped it. but whatever I call the 800 number to see if I can get help that way. Nope you go through many voice prompts and are told you have to file the claim online. One big black hole of refusing to even try to help so you know this will never get resolved. Gosh thanks so much slumberland for now requiring me to invest hours into getting a sofa that's usable.
UPDATE: it's now been TWO MONTHS with the broken sofa sitting in my living room wrapped in plastic.
A technician did come out to "properly assemble" it because apparently they think we don't know how to put feet on a sofa. Below are the pictures of just how bad the damage is upon the technician unwrapping the sofa. he said, you will hear something from corporate - if you don't hear anything from them in two weeks, then you should call them. the holes in the back of the leather the damage to the interior after the technician pulled the leather up the feet don't go on because the frame is blocking the screw hole the leather not fitting right because they didn't put it on properly
i have called 7 times since, every excuse from that person isn't in, our computers don't work, we don't have a computer in front of us, our phone lines don't work so we can't hear you (when you call, they can see who is calling and the order info)
$2300, two months, and a big plastic covered sofa sitting in my living room.

Read moreI purchased a reclining sofa, reclining chair, table and chairs, another recliner, and a full sized bed set from the St Cloud location. I have only had it 3 1/2 months and the sofa and reclining chair are shot! The tech came out and wanted to replace the cushions and fix the chair since it is broke. I'm elderly and do not jump or treat furniture with disrespect. I do not have children coming to my home to cause issues. The furniture is garbage. I paid over $3,000 for these two pieces of furniture and they are so uncomfortable I can't sit in them. I have to bring a chair from the dining room into the living room to watch tv! I have been given the run around by customer service. I have been lied to. I demanded a refund or reselect of a different set of living room Furniture and have been treated horribly. I got a text today stating they approved me for a exchange, they same set! Absolutely No! I am not going through this again after 3 months! Tomorrow the manager of the store is supposed to call and discuss this. I will update my review if she refunds my purchase. I do not even want a reselect now after what they did today - wanting to "exchange" it. It's a manufactures defect and I don't want the same furniture again. I haven't even taken the tags off of them. Be aware, Slumberland says they have a 30 day return, there is no way we would have known the cushions, seating and backs, were going to collapse in 30 days. If I do not get a satisfactory answer tomorrow I will be going to the Better Business Bureau and if I have to I will fight it in court. Slumberland used to have good furniture - not any more! I am very upset. I did not need this after going through having cancer at the beginning of the year then my brother getting hit head on at 70 miles a hour! I am his caretaker as we live together. Slumberland does not care and will not go out of there way to call you back or help you as I've seen over the last weeks. You can see in the middle - no one sits there as the recliners are at the ends. The two ends have deteriorated so badly in 3 1/2 months. We only sit there 2 hours a day if that. The recliner tilts to the left because it's broke underneath! This is not right! Save yourself the troubles I'm...
Read moreIn the end of July we purchased a couch, loveseat, and chair.the purchase price was supposed to be $2,200 for the set on sale. upon paying for it with the extended warranty came up to 3200. at this point she informed us but the chair was no longer on sale and the tag was wrong. But we ended up purchasing it anyway. Picked it up the following day. When we got home the loveseat was broke along with the chair. We had purchased extended warranty that is supposed to cover everything that could possibly happen.. we unboxed and set up the furniture. The loveseat is supposed to be a rocker glider and you can feel metal grinding when you rock. The chair was loose and wobbly. So I called slumberland close to a month later a technician came out tightened up half of the chair and left half of it loose. Said he bent something underneath the glider and it should work. I get home from work and realize the chair is still loose. And by the time I got back from work the glider is grinding again.mind you my wife had to take a day off of work to deal with this technician coming that did nothing to fix anyting.. so I called slumberland they try to explain to me that they have no knowledge of any work done to my furniture after an hour and a half on the phone they figured it out.the note stated if this does not work they will have to order new mechanisms for the loveseat. This was in September of 2019.. it is now February 2020 I love seat is still broke and so is my chair.I called them yesterday the lady was completely rude and said it will be another 60 to 70 days before I see my parts and then I will have to schedule a technician which will be another 60 days. Makes me wonder what the $700 warranty was for..I bought seating for 6 in currently have seating for four we had to go through two holidays with no where for family to sit. I was told buying this extended warranty that if something wasn't able to be fixed it would be replaced I should not have to sit for a year with half of the furniture that I bought slumberland...
