I signed up as a vendor and after setting up our booth outside in the morning I ordered the taco platter at tacos mama chava. I was probably the first customer around 10am. Got the chorizo & chicken tacos. My friend got a different set of tacos. About 2hrs later only I got diarrhea and felt extremely nauseous. I almost fainted walking the short distance to my car to relax and talk myself down. I vomited shortly after making it to my car. I’m certain they gave me food poisoning and my friend and I had to pack up our booth and leave early. It was a really sad moment as that was our first time attempting to be vendors. In hindsight, the taco truck was very dirty. As the first customer I saw them put the salsas out, weren’t even on ice. Just in a bucket of water and had caked up salsa inside and on the openings of the bottles. Not fresh, not clean, and not even stored properly on ice. The forks and spoons were also covered in dirt and dust. I really should’ve just requested a refund after noticing this but I was so hungry and mistakes were made. Save yourself the trouble and just avoid this food truck please and take heed of the unsanitary conditions and don’t overlook it out of hunger like I did. I wasted $30 to rent the space and $16 on a platter that gave me food poisoning. Hardly got to sell anything cause I need to pack up...

The best deals and variety of stuff sold can be found on the sellers lane directly adjacent to the arena. I have found that the closer you get to indoor flea market, generally speaking, the less deals found. Of course the indoor flea market is most expensive, probably due to higher rent sellers pay.
Best time to go is during gun and car shows, that is when you will find the most variety of sellers. Get there as early as possible for the best finds.
Things you should never buy new before looking here first:. Tools, kitchen items, knives of all kinds, gun holsters, old electric equipment, yard work equipment. Very often you will find unique and interesting collectables.

Always know what you will pay for something. Most sellers want to get rid of things. Be polite to sellers, and respect them, and they will be happy to give you a deal. Treat them fair and you will be...
Read more3/16/2024 Because of inflation and changes in societal attitudes, many individuals prefer to stay home and receive benefits rather than seeking employment. However, this trend has made it challenging for those who are eager to work hard to lead a comfortable life, which is quite disheartening. During my recent visit to the NORTH CAROLINA STATE FAIR GROUND, I observed a noticeable decline in customer turnout. This change can be attributed to the ongoing construction on BLUE RIDGE ROAD, which has led to the closure of the main entrance, forcing NCSU students to use a longer route and a side entrance for their shopping needs or to sell products for extra income. Additionally, I was surprised to find that the address of NC STATE FAIR has been removed from Google Maps since 2022, and my previously taken panoramic photos have been obscured. Despite these challenges, I had ample time to explore the area before visiting my 80-year-old mother. The panoramic photos I captured reflect the drastic changes that have taken place, leaving the fairground deserted...
