Utopia Salon and Day Spa — Attraction in Honesdale

I visited Utopia, Hawley today for the first time for a facial & it was absolutely FANTASTICAL!🎉

The arrival and departure process at reception with MICHELLE was smooth and easy. In fact, it was so seamless that I didn't even have a chance to get her name. I had to call back later to ask for it so I could include her in this review.

The serene ambiance of the treatment room was a delightful surprise compared to other spas I've visited.

MELINDA's presence, coupled with her expertise and warm, friendly demeanor, immediately put me at ease, creating an unforgettable experience. She exhibited courtesy and professionalism throughout her customized treatment, which was thoughtful, gentle, and rejuvenating. In addition, upon beginning my facial, she "expertly" yielded to my preference for light conversation during the treatment, adding to the overall enjoyment. I left feeling not only relaxed, but also wonderfully refreshed.

I haven't had my hair touched in 5 years. My son has always used my hair as his security blanket and I didn't want to cut it on him. That said, my hair was looking so drab. I've seen the work of Cyndi at Utopia on IG and felt confident she could help me with my long overdue hair care. I was not disappointed! What an awesome experience from start to finish. I had an early morning appt and was given an amazing cup of coffee. We discussed exactly what I was looking for with my hair. Then throughout the foiling, coloring, and cutting process we had a lot of great conversations. I felt extremely comfortable and knew I was in great hands. I had the pleasure of using Utopia for my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Cyndi did my makeup, and Chelsea handled my hair. Both were fantastic!

I was a little worried going into my makeup trial because I know a lot of brides go for a full glam, contoured look to photograph well. But I wanted to look like myself with a more natural, “no makeup” makeup look. Cyndi totally understood my vision and delivered perfectly! Instead of using harsh strip lashes, she applied individual lash extensions, which gave me a soft, romantic look that I loved. Chelsea was equally amazing—she brought my dream of a fairy-princess, romantic half-up/half-down hairstyle to life.
