Palmyra Township Beach along to Wallenpaupack Lake Trail The beach is a great spot in the area to experience Lake Wallenpaupack - Lifeguards on duty too! It is perfect for families and small children. As an added bonus - it is connected to the Wallenpaupack Lake Trail - This is one of my favorite spots to walk/run in the area & catch an amazing sunset! It is a relatively level, 3-mile trail along Lake Wallenpaupack - gravel packed in some spots, wood chips in others - walk along the Observation Dike (check out the Eagles sometimes perched in the tree), head towards the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center, Palmyra Township Beach, through Wilsonville Campground along the shoreline of Wallenpaupack High School and then end at the Wallenpaupack Environmental Education Center.
