This is how they told me their cancelation process was going to work: "cancel before Dec 13th to avoid paying their annual fee". I cancelled on Dec 7th. This is how it actually worked: Paid $10 cancelation processing fee, then paid the $53.49 annual fee, plus an ADDITIONAL monthly fee of $37.44 (mind you that I had already cancelled and paid for the first AND last month upon signing up). Staff member, Andy, suggested I go there to go over the charges. What would that change? He said the charges were franchise policy. Did he want to recite the franchise policy to me in person? Why offer me a futile option? I am not going back.
Why did I chose to leave? This facility is depressing. It is put together with broken drywall, chipped paint all over, dirty and sweaty machines that nobody cleans after, free weights on the floor everywhere (tripping hazards). People on their phones while working out making me waste my time because they take longer than necessary to complete their sets. There is nothing "healthy" about it. It is sad, tired, and dirty. Very unprofessional Youfit!
I had scheduled a personal training session with Yeslin and she never showed up. No call, no text, no email. I texted her and got the silent treatment. Very unprofessional Youfit! (Today, her supervisor said that I should re-schedule the traing session. However, I would rather leave $ on the table than to go back there.)
Personal trainer Director Erica's selling tactics were really close to harrassment. She would not take a "no" when it came to selling personal training services to my husband. He had to make up a dramatic story to stop her from insisting. It was a terrible experience for both of us. Very unprofessional Youfit!
The music selection played through this gym on Dec 7th was extremely offensive and careless with the N-word all over the lyrics. Very unprofessional Youfit!
Go somewhere else if you are looking to get healthy. Go somewhere else if you don't want to feel like you were lied to and robbed. I feel like they care about improving experiences which counts. The hot water situation has been fixed. I still think the showers need new shower heads and better lighting. As a Youfit personal training client for over 3 years Iâve been to most of the Youfits in the area. This is by far the worst. Domary and the front desk staff are the only good things about it. The location is terrible and hard to find. Signage is minimal. My biggest complaint is the state of the womenâs bathrooms. Theyâre dilapidated. Theyâre gross. There is barely any lighting. The shower heads are disgusting. One shower doesnât even have a shower head. Every time Iâve tried to use them there is NO HOT WATER. I had to take a cold shower before I went to work. Itâs been over a month and neither the bathrooms or hot water has been tended to. Iâve never even seen management. I donât know whoâs in charge. This location is an embarrassment...
