Florida National University - South Campus — Attraction in Doral

Great school, dont get me wrong, its just a shame that they have such a TERRIBLE Financial Aid departament. As an student I requested extra money from my loan, which is a process that, the girl that helped me, told me it would take Max a month, I requested this money to buy books and material I was going to need for my Anatomy class that wasnt even started yet. After the month pass I called, and the girl told me: "Oh, Im sorry, I forgot to tel you, you're missing some document" that bother me because I was struggling without the things I needed to buy with that money but anyways, I went back and gave her what she was missing. Two more weeks passed and I called just in case she was missing something else, and of course she was, another document, at this point I was mad, I had to get out from work early to be able to give them what they were asking for, but again, I didnt wanted to be the bad guy so I stayed quiet... Waited 2 more weeks and thats it, I finish with my Anatomy class. Now I went because I recieved a email, the money was already there, And I need it to fill up a paper, Nobody said nothing, I left and then a call: "You have to put the exact amount of money you have available"; How can I know that If nobody told me? Theres only one word to describe this: INCOMPETENCE. They dont care about your time, I dont know if they dont know how to do their job, its just THE WORST student service I've ever...

Do not waste your time and money at this school. I was enrolled in the BSN program and they made me loose a whole summer out of school saying that financial aid wouldn’t cover for my classes during the summer semester this was said to me by the ACADEMIC ADVISOR. They one time by “mistake” put me in the wrong class and I HAD TO PAY ($50) to change my schedule and get the class that I needed because by the time they noticed the deadline was over for the class and I was held responsible for something that was not under my control. When I was finally done with my prerequisites and ready to go into the nursing program I was given the wrong packet to fill out TWICE. When I had my packet done and ready to turn it in they came with an excuse that I needed TWO REFERENCE FORM in order for the packet to be complete. Once I turned in my packet and took my exam I didn’t pass it the first time because they don’t even have tutoring or anybody that can guide you to be prepared for such exam. Then I went back to take it a second time and I was kicked out of the computer lab with the teacher that’s protecting the exam and they had to take me into THREE DIFFERENT OFFICES to do the exam because someone changed the schedule of the computer lab the night before. Even the campus dean DINDT KNOW WHAT WAS...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Professors do not answer the school has technical issues on their end that will not allow you to do exams and use it as an excuse to not allow you to complete it when they had a technical issue and fail you for something that is not in your control ! Very incompetent and irresponsible administration. I waited a month to get a response because my professor was informed of the issue but decided to ignore me for a month not answering any questions or email you will not learn here just cry and pay consequences for things that are not in your control.
