Sailfish Public Beach Access — Attraction in Corolla

Very nice beach the only thing is getting there. There's a bit of traffic since the town is small and roads are limited. The public access points are also limited. So plan accordingly. There was a lot of private communities and you can't park there, so that was the only problem. Also because you are parking at a public access point there are no showers or access to clean your feet so try to clean up as much as you can. There was no trash can so bring your own bags to dispose of the trash later. Water was clear but a storm had passed so there was seaweed. There was not as many shells but still nice. Not crowded and no bathrooms that...

Free parking two blocks away from the beach access. Quiet beach with many families. Had lifeguards from about 939 am to 5:00 pm. Not handicap or stroller accessible as there is a large flight of stairs that leads to the beach. Water was quite cold in late June, but enjoyed a brief dip.
