This was course #3 on our 4 day golf trip. There are a few pros and cons about this course.
Lets start with the cons:
You can book 2 weeks in advance but there is a $25 non-refundable booking fee (this fee does NOT go towards your green fees) $85 for non resident +$25 fee = $110 w/cart. I was on my computer at midnight 2 wks in advance to get the tee time I wanted. The tee time booking did not refresh on a timely manner at midnight. I refreshed until 12:05a and it was blank. Assuming bots took everything, I started looking for other courses to play. I came back to the page at 12:20am and the tee times appeared. I tried booking two tee times for a group of 8, but was having issues adding back to back tee times, and when I was finally able to get two tee times, I only got 1:30 & 1:40p. Which sucks cause I went from 9am, to 10, to 12, and ended up at 1:30p & 1:40. I was having issues checking out on all the other tee times I had in my basket. I guess you're battling with a lot of other people (or bots) at the same time. The other issue I had was the pace of play. It's already a super busy course and we had a five-some ahead of use and they also had a five-some ahead of them. Maybe the course didn't care? I don't know but that hindered pace of play a lot. took us almost 5.5hrs
okay onto the pros
The condition is great, the views are awesome. The course is not difficult (pro or con you decide).
It was our first time playing this course. It was fun, we can say we played it, but I wouldn't play it again with how difficult it was getting a tee time and the price for...
Read moreBeautiful course and the views are amazing. Staff in pro shop, snack bar area and starter were friendly and helpful. We played course in four hours and fifteen minutes. At seventh hole the have a clock we were THREE minutes behind pace but were waiting on group in front of us. On eighth hole Marshall comes over tells us we need to pick up the pace. I had a bathroom break and cart lady on that hole. We finish eighth hole waiting on tee box at nine. Six minutes ahead at turn then proceed to wait thru the next four holes then it opens back up (group in front of our group left) Once again we are told very rudely to pick up the pace eventually we hit into the group on the seventeenth, they were on eighteenth tee box playing partner sliced one into them. So unless you want to be pushed constantly just grab a beer and hang out in the dining area for the day. One of the least pleasant rounds I have ever played. Apparently golf is a race at this course and they encourage you to hit into...
Read morenot welcoming to beginners. I’m fairly new to golf and was very discouraged, disheartened and offput when a sexist, degrading marshal told me at hole one today that i had to participate as a rider so as not to slow game pace - all because i took a few practice swings. he rode by twice in the span of 2 minutes to talk about me to my group (as if i wasn’t in front of him) about how “this is a nice place” and i belonged at the driving range because i was a risk of slowing the pace and taking practice swings wasn’t allowed. even though for 9 holes we were stuck waiting for the group of FIVE ahead of us, and this marshal was nowhere to be found. definitely won’t be coming back here and will likely not continue pursuing golf because of this experience. really affirmed all the stereotypes you hear about golf being entitled, elitist and for “boys only.” only good news is i was able to get a refund for...
