I am so conflicted about this review. Though I absolutely love this park and the surrounding areas are great for a picnic, stroll along the water front and family fun playday, the restrooms are without ambiguity the WORST I have experienced at a public park in San Diego.

No doors on the stalls for either gender (which I've dealt with before, so not my first rodeo) that while not ideal are manageable. The kicker though is how filthy these get on the weekends. I can't speak to how they are on a normal weekday, but these look like they hadn't been serviced in weeks. I went in once and never again.

All that said we still come here all the time. We love watching the people work out/break dancing on the fitness bars, the playground is great for the kids, and all the families there are nice and welcoming. Parking is also plentiful and the location overall is beautiful. Dem bathrooms tho. Yik.

Our family enjoyed the park and especially the four mile run we took, which started and ended at the park! The small portion of beach sand we played in was nice, but there was a significant amount of trash around us. Also, there was no dedicated rinse station, but we made due using the water fountain to fill our bottles up to then pour over our feet. Other than that, there was something in the water that felt like small insects biting our ankles, so we didn't spend too much time in the water. I would recommend mostly for the view and the run, but I am also known by my wife to be a notorious beach hater, so...

Sunday was the British car Day at Tidelands Park.. Nice park, nice view of Coronado Bridge..

After driving from Orange County, I needed to used the restroom ..Maintenance was finishing up cleaning, but when I went in, I was totally disgusted with what Coronado had to offer.. 2 open stalls, 1 urinal, 1 sink.. open stalls, no doors, I don’t think it had been painted or updated since it was built..

I just returned from England and Ireland, airports. …and San Diego and Coronado should be ashamed and 2 porta-potties were right outside ..(for overflow..?) I am totally disappointed and will never return to...

This is a great park in Coronado with an awesome location. It's just right off the main bridge. The park is right next to the ocean, golf court, skateboarding park as well as many restaurants nearby. It also has kayaks, bicycles, jetski for rent. The view is amazing that you can see the USS Midway from the other side. It's not popular with tourists so it's never too crowded. It's free to park on the parking lot as well as many street parking spots. There are many spots for photo ops as well.

Fantastic park with serene views and amenities. My wife and I stopped by early on a Saturday morning to take a walk near the water. We expected it to be crowded, but it wasn't. I assume it got busier after we left, because this park is just too nice to not be packed on the weekend. Beautiful views, clean and full of things to see and do. This would be the perfect spot to beintg your kids or just spend some time outside enjoying the best of Coronado.
