This is such a peaceful and beautiful park and it is dog friendly. If you are afraid of dogs u might want to know that you will encounter plenty of them and some will be off leash. All of the dogs I met were very friendly and just wanted to play. It seemed like the dogs were more excited than the kids and I had fun throwing a frisbee for one that came up to greet me with frisbee in mouth and ready to play. So cute!!! The park is quite large with tons of space to play, have a private picnic, go off by yourself and meditate, do yoga—-whatever u want AND it is very clean—except for occasional dog poop, but just watch where u step. I don’t know if they have restrooms as I was on a mission to check out a certain spot by the stream, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they did have restrooms. Next time I go I will check to see and report back. Oh yes and I will get some photos. Go...

Turning in - there's a decent sized parking lot, though I don't recall seeing any spots being marked as accessible. In front of the parking area, I saw three shaded picnic ramadas with concrete tables. They have a shaded play area for smaller kids, and then another area for older kids (this one just shaded by some trees). Play equipment was super basic - just a slide or two- nothing too fancy. Not worth a second visit. No sidewalks to walk around either, just a bunch of grass. The only thing that makes up for the ho-hum of the play area is nearby they do have some sports fields, like a baseball field and...

Good parking areas with many shaded spots are available right next to the park. There are swings and slides for kids along with a substantial grassy are to play. Some amenities include: shaded walking trails to the Verde River; an 18 hole disk golf course;. Nicely kept baseball and softball diamonds; a roller blade / skate arena; horseshoe pits and soft red dirt paths your dog will love. Sometimes you just get lucky to find a city...
