A wonderful vineyard just 30 minutes from Charlottesville. This place is unassuming, small but absolutely lovely. The drive was beautiful- along the farms and on the gorgeous Virginia countryside. The place is tucked behind a building and there is a small sign to let you know you’ve arrived!We went on a cold February afternoon, it was serene, quiet and the mountains in the background were stunning. The view of the vines from the patio is delightful and the wines were nice. Their 2019 Cabernet had just won a prize the week before and I’m glad we were able to sample it.    Read moreVery disappointed. We arrived without a reservation and were told we were not allowed to have a tasting with a group of twelve. We wanted to to split into three groups of four and they said no. There was even an empty table of six. They were not crowded and there were no other people waiting. The girl (did not give her name but she had several tattoos) was very rude and had no interest in problem solving the situation. Our group has been touring Virginia wineries for over ten years and never experienced such rudeness and zero desire to accommodate.
