Cudahy is one of the most quirky and hidden small towns I've visited. That's a compliment! It's funny, I've been in this community dozens of times throughout my life over the years. But I've visited the library, or let alone the park, until month ago. Yet again, I've discovered some unique gems that adds a special charm to any community. This park is smaller in contrast to Salt Lake Park or Furman Park. However, this site is nearby the L.A. River, a few American Craftsman homes, an elementary school, City Hall and Public Library. Additionally, there's a small skatepark, basketball court, River Bike Pathway, Baseball Field, and Children's Play Section. Even with a police officer sitting in the parking lot, nor an elementary school full of kids is enough to deter gang activity here.
