After reading and seeing pictures, I have wanted to go here for a few yrs now. It is not dog friendly, one of the main reasons I had not been yet. I had company from out of town and it was supposed to rain, so chose this as a quick hike. We chose the out and back trail not the loop because of impending rain. The trail is very well maintained and wide. Plenty of trail markers, although there was not one that we saw for the Yucca trail. We still managed to find our way back, it took us about 25 minutes to get to the parking lot from the top. We waited to be able to sit in the seats. We chose the middle one as we were not brave enough for the far end. The hike to the top is definitely up hill but not too bad. I think it took about 20 minutes to get to the top judging by time stamps on pictures. We did spend a good deal of time taking pictures at the viewing area. There are picnic tables on the parking lot area. There’s a flower garden area, I didn’t explore because the rain started just as we got to the bottom.
