I hiked the Indian Seats trail today with a bunch of folks from my Meetup group. Although it was a rocky and steep trail, I enjoyed it, especially the view at the Summit.
Location and parking: Finding the preserve and getting parking were very easy, thanks to the signage at the front. Dogs and bikes aren't allowed (Sorry Pet owners :( ), probably owing to the steep and sharp rocks throughout the trail.
Hike length & pace: Our hike was 3.8 miles long and took us roughly 2.5 hours to complete at a moderate pace. We took ample breaks in the middle and highly recommend it to those relatively new to hiking due to the inclination that can get hard at times.
My verdict: Although this trail is unpaved and is part of the wilderness, it looked well maintained with hardly any fallen logs poking out or unclean-looking spots. I highly recommend this one for both solo hikers and those going...
