We brought 7 middle-school aged kids (Girl Scouts) and 3 adults. Some of the girls afraid of heights did the smallest course and that was a good fit for those afraid of heights. The rest of us all did the big course and it was a good mix of obtainable for total beginners not in great shape and for those with more experience and in better shape. We had planned for a couple of us to continue onto the extreme course but they had it closed for wind that day, unfortunately. The staff that were on the course were AMAZING! One of our girls got scared on the little course and instead of getting her off the course, he got on the course to help encourage her along and get her ready for the zip line at the end and that meant the world to us. There were two teenage girls in the office and they were unhelpful and uninformed. They didn't really seem to know much about the course or even the computer program and were just texting on their phones the whole time even when I was standing right in front of them going over our reservation. It was rude but being they appeared to be minors, I did not say anything to them. Really, they should have just been supervised and better trained because if you leave teenagers unsupervised, you can expect them to act that way. Overall, still a really great experience and I would recommend to other groups, especially Scout and...
Read moreAwesome experience! We did the adventure course and tubing, we did the big adventure course with my 5 and 7 year old along with my husband and sister, the small course is perfect for little kids, the big course will give you butterflies in your stomach for the first obstacle and then it's all smooth sailing after that, my 5 year old felt like spiderman and I was so proud of him for going through the course and doing it all on his own. They loved all the obstacles and the zip line at the end :) Small course is perfect for littles and if you have an adventurous kiddo I would do the big one. The tubing was so much fun, we did the 2 hour ride. Here is a tip to making it works o you can do it all together - bring a backpack with your clothes for the day and get a locker at the office space, wear your bathing suit, shorts, and water shoes only up to the top - this way you take the bus in the clothes you can do the adventure course in and then you will tube your way back down. The tubing was a ton of fun, you definitely need sticks and only tie 2 people together to make it easy to maneuver through the little rapids / rocks, my kids both loved it. It's beautiful the entire day, Grandma came with us and loved it too. The staff is super friendly, helpful, kind, and makes sure you have everything you need. I...
Read moreI am not a harsh reviewer by any means, but this was definitely not a 5 or a 4 star experience. Honestly, more of a 2.5. But I'll settle at 3. I've had many tubing and white water rafting experiences, and this was by far the worst.
Before I get to the negatives, no complaints about the tubes or pricing. The river was great too. And the gentleman who drove us back was so kind and lighthearted, even in crazy traffic.
BUT the first bus driver we had (We think her name was Ashley) was not very kind. Really ruined the whole vibe before we even got to the water. She was complaining about coworkers and was being incredible rude to anyone who had any questions. Including one from our party. And riding with her was not a great experience, especially after she told us she had hreatened to rear-end someone earlier in her bus.
Once we got off her bus, we were met with absolutely chaos and disorganization. Yes it's a holiday weekend, but the chaos had nothing to do with the amount of people, but rather a broken system or possibly even a lack of a system.
My recommendation for this company is to focus more on quality experiences, rather than trying to have as many customers as possible, without having any systems in place to take care of them.
We will check out the local competition if we hit the...
