You back up to the edge of a pit along side commercial dump trucks and throw your trash in to a giant hydraulic compressor. It could be a sofa or loveseat followed by a dead rose bush with a partially eaten happy meal on top. There is a place to drop off recyclables and hazardous items like computers, appliances, metal etc…. everything else goes in the pit. It is dusty and dirty so it is a good idea to wear a mask and gloves. Pay attention to the employees directions as it is a dangerous place and they know what they are doing. Be alert.
