Prayer Mountain is a beautiful place to go pray and meditate. As far as the church. My first time visiting the grounds today, and the demeanor of one of the members will turn away a lot of lost souls. Not mine that is. Had I not been a daughter of the Most High God. I would have been offended, But wow this. When the devil is a woman, today she and her offspring are it. As I was going to pray, something said ask them about the church, get a feel for the people. I wasn’t surprised when her first few words was like this is private property, I ask what type of church is it. She was like non domination, you don’t have to come to the church, to come to the mountain. All on the inside I’m laughing to myself like yeah I know but this is private property correct. She was like most people think it’s a park, and her offspring as like yeah people think it’s a park were they can come and hang out, smoke cigarettes. Wow. You told on yourself missy. Read moreHeard about this beautiful place in the newspaper, and me and my family were camping in the area so we figured we’d come and check it out. Such a beautiful, peaceful, and serene place. From the church itself, to the rentable pavilions, to the beautiful scenic overlooks that let you see for miles. This is a perfect representation of how God is genuinely all around us and can be found in more places than just a church. I definitely recommend checking this...
Read morePrayer Mountain is truly a hidden gem for anyone who loves a peaceful walk through nature. Some parts of the trail are a bit overgrown, so I’d recommend wearing pants or long socks just to stay comfortable. But that’s a small tradeoff for such a beautiful and soul-refreshing experience. We’ll definitely be back to walk the trail more often, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to reflect, breathe, and connect with nature.
I met a little friend while cooling down but it wasn’t much of a...
