Emerald Lake Park — Attraction in Dallas

Been going here for years... Fishing used to be ok 10 years back but is nonexistent at thi point... Nice Park with walking Trail it has small grill and table area for hotdogs 🌭 and family... It's ducked-off behind the Mountain Creek Library. Most people want even know it exist... There is a playground and a huge hill to wear the kids down... On Saturday or Sunday there is a church or something that sings outside from far away, 👻 but, calming and serene... This park is such a hidden gem! I was looking for a new park to visit with the kids and found this park on Google maps. We took a stroll along the pond on a nice Fall day. It was so peaceful and serene and the weather was just perfect with a light breeze and ducks swimming in the distance.

They have a playground that my twins really enjoyed alone with a volleyball court and small baseball field. I didn’t see any bathrooms near by but the library isn’t too far if the little ones need to go.We found it easiest to park at the library...

Is a really nice place to sit down, have picnics or for kids to enjoy themselves. Also it's absolutely beautiful dark and early when you see the light reflected on the lake.
