We recently visited The War Museum, and it was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in history. The World War II section was particularly moving, with authentic artifacts and pictures. The staff mainly Jc were very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions, adding to the educational value. I would highly recommend asking for him on Wednesdays and Fridays as he was a big part of the wonderful experience. The museum provides a profound sense of respect for those who served. Be aware that this is definitely for older kids (10+). Much reading is involved which bored our 5 yr. old. He was pleased that he got 2 plastic soldiers at the front desk but went next door to the library with his mother fairly rapidly, especially as it turned out is no gift shop.
