A lot of different trails to hike. Some easier than others of course. If you are up it hike the one that leads you straight to the river and right down to the falls. Take the left went entering the state park towards the lodging area there is a sign. Than it's the first area to park on your right. You'll see a sign on the left of where you park that it's dangerous and to hike with other people. It is a slightly difficult hike but so worth it. Afterwards you can go back towards you car and take the other hike to the right to get to a really high overlook of the river and the falls. Absolutely beautiful...

Unfortunately, due to the freezing temperatures, full access to the whole trail leading to the actual edge of the waterfalls was restricted, but very well received as park securities are being observed. Even then, the natural sights near and around the falls is still captivating. If you would like to avoid this little area restrictions, please come during the spring, or higher than freezing temperatures to avoid iced trails and walkways. Overall...
Read moreFirst visit, but I forsee many more. Easy parking, nice snack and gift shop at the "trailhead". There is a paved trail for ADA access to the top of the boardwalk where you can get an obstructed view of the falls. After that it's a lot of shallow stairs, but with several benches to rest and an Overlook halfway down. Very well done! The boardwalk is mostly shadedand nice and cool on a sunny summer day.
