Homeland Market — Attraction in Dearborn

I always like to wait to visit a place a few times before rating it, but it’s definitely time! This place used to be an old liquor store, and now is a Mediterranean market with all your Arabic market needs (plus regular groceries too). I mean seriously… I cannot believe how much the owners were able to make out of this little space. They have every and anything my family could need, from produce, to halal meat, to spices, cleaning supplies, even fire wood and taco seasoning! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, if the owners were not so polite, I probably would have forgot to even review this place. It’s run by two young brothers who truly go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I literally just called to confirm whether their store hours were accurate and nobody answered. Guess what?! They called back! Who does that?! Haha and btw, their store hours ARE ACCURATE! They’re open until midnight! Wooohoooo!...

It feels like overnight how it turned from an old liquor store to this amazing grocery store and let me tell you this you will find everything from Hala meat to any other thing you would need for your family I don’t understand how they can make such a small space into an amusing grocery store with so many things more than you can imagine needing or seeing in one place makes my daily life so much easier like if I need anything yup just up the street I don’t even need to go anywhere else lol and customer service is perfect very kind respectful and polite owners.. I almost forgot to add they have an ATM IN STORE 😭🤲🏼 They also accept WIC n food stamps n they have labeled everything that’s WIC accepted just go in get what you need without having to keep checking the brands on the app with that being said go shopping you won’t be...

I've been shopping here consistently for just over 1 year now. The quality on produce has been steadily improving. It's a great local market that has a little of everything! My FAVORITE THING to buy here though, is MEAT! The quality has EXTREMELY IMPROVED! I follow a mostly carnivore diet and the steaks here are SUPER FRESH! They have a good meat to fat ratio. The pack of fresh hamber patties are also DELICIOUS! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS! Wonderful improvements! Also, the Arabic bread has gotten fresher/softer(maybe more consistent deliveries?) 100% HALAL which is all my family and I eat. I will continue to make this local market my go-to. I USED to only shop here if I didn't have time to go anywhere else or I only needed one quick ingredient, where as NOW I think of this place FIRST...
