I went for a cut today for the first time. The guys were very friendly. However I asked for just the natural line of my hair to be kept on the sides with a taper fade on sides/back, and on my beard for it to be cut straight down the cheeks and along the neck line. When the barber got to the beard he cut length off. I didnt ask for any length to be cut off because I’m trying to grow my beard out. At the end of the cut I wasn’t show my hair with a mirror to see the end result. When I got home I realized that a big chunk was taken out of the right side of my hair (not cut straight to match the other side. Also one side of the beard was curved and the other side was straight. I ended up having the buzz my whole head because I have an important event tomorrow and can’t afford to show up like I did. I also had to spend extra time shaping my own beard. Everything I did at home I could have done for free but I spent $35 (including tip). I should have waited for the main barber but I trust that I’m going to get a solid cut when I walk into a barber shop. Read moreTony has been my barber for the better part of the last thirty years. A good barber, like a good doctor are hard to find. Once you do find one you hate to lose them, no matter how long they've been in business or how old they are. Tony was that barber who also became a friend. Tony has retired, so began the search for that new barber. So I was driving by and saw the barber lamp back on. Chuck was inside doing some renovations. We started talking, Chuck is an "Old School Barber" much like Tony, and has began the process of taking over the shop. Chuck was easy to talk to and the resulting haircut had the process and feel I have come to expect. Being new Chuck would like to fill another chair or two, update the interior design, but keep the standard of service that Tony established over the last 65 years. Good luck, congratulations to my old friend, and good luck to my new barber; Chuck in the future. May your barbers lamp...
Read moreListen up folks...I don't know how anyone is putting a 1 star for a review. I've been dealing with Amir for several years now, and everytime I see him he always greets me with a smile and says "how are you my friend." I can't speak enough about Amir's friendly and professional customer service; hell the staff in general has been nothing but friendly and professional.
I just left Tony C's about an hour ago...I called last minute and spoke with Amir. He advised he was planning on leaving early, but if I could get there withing 10 minutes he'd stay. I got there in 15 minute and Amir was still there waiting for me...that is true customer service and taking care of your clients. I will be moving out of Dearborn in the coming weeks, but you better believe I will be driving back just to get my hair and beard cut...
