Modish — Attraction in Decorah

If could give Modish 10 or 15 stars, I would. I have shopped at Modish since it opened and I've never had a bad experience there. While I'm no longer based in Decorah, Modish is still my go-to for any clothing or gift needs, from casual summer tops to a reception dinner dress for a friend's wedding I was just in. I recommend Modish to colleagues and friends in Decorah and beyond on any opportunity that I can. Steph and her team are warm, compassionate, and knowledgeable in the services they provide. They provide helpful and honest feedback and I look forward to every time that I get to visit. I strongly believe in Shopping Local as much as I can, and Modish is a prime example of why it is SO IMPORTANT to support small businesses...

Modish has the cutest clothes, has such a warm, inviting atmosphere & their staff went above and beyond for me today, and that’s why I’m leaving a review.

I ordered a pair of black boots online (which are exactly what I’ve been looking for) & forgot to select the pick-up option. I called and explained to one of the staff members that I’d like to pick them up that day but couldn’t leave work until later, and because I was nearby, they offered to drop them off for me. It may seem like a small gesture, but it really meant a lot that they offered and were willing to do that. It’s the little things that make a big difference. We went to Decorah Iowa for a wedding and somehow my daughter's dress did not make it. We contacted the owner Stephanie about the issue Friday night and she opened her store two hours early so we could see if she had something there. She did!

Besides the graciousness of opening early, she also brought a few pieces from her own collection in case she had nothing to purchase. Additionally, provided us mimosas as a congratulations. I can't say enough about her hospitality and care!. ...
