Guam Home Center — Attraction in Dededo Municipality

I recently purchased some spackle from Guam Home Center and went home to use the product. As I began applying it, I noticed it wasn’t drying properly. I then realized the spackle was already white—despite the product indicating it dries white, meaning it should have initially been pink. I hadn’t noticed the color beforehand because the pink lid gave the product a slightly pink hue.

The next day, I returned to GHC and checked a new container on the shelf, which was clearly pink, confirming that the one I had purchased was not in its proper condition. I requested a refund, but was told the product wasn’t considered defective and, because I had used some of it, they couldn’t offer a resolution.

This store used to be our go-to for the family, but no more! The staff is great, but my family and I had a terrible experience with the so-called owner which was unbelievable! Rather than correcting the issue and acknowledging the mistake they made with our purchase, this guy outright put the blame on us, and insisted that we were in the wrong. And when we finally did point the facts and he realized that the store was at fault, he shifted the blame on his employee. customer service is tough. As I was checking out I noticed something wrong with the item I picked up so I asked the cashier if they had anymore in stock because that's all I found on display. Cashier told me there were 17 more and to my surprise, she told me to go back to the shelf and check it again instead of checking for me. After scrambling through all the items and asking 2 other associates for help, I ended up buying something different from what I needed as I was in a hurry.
