A great place if you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine. The prices are reasonable and you cannot go wrong with their barbecue! It's sort of a hidden gem because you're mostly speed driving past the 'shack', which is right after Pacific Tyre and before the entrance to Guam Home Center. I will admit a little caution: as with a lot of 'turo turo' places, food may be sitting depending on the time of day. Additionally, as it's an outdoor area, there may be flies; be cautious as they may enter the food area, which they have done a great job to keep the flies away. Lastly, you may want to ask if MSG is used in their dishes, some dishes may or may not contain MSG - something to think about for those allergic to MSG. The staff/ladies are all great, always helpful and smiling. Their pork and chicken barbecue skewers are excellent, along with their pancit. Parking is ample but can get tricky during peak rush hour traffic, 17:00-19:00. I saw that they do catering platters, hoping to order some platters for...
Read moreFor anyone who is interested in Filipino food, this is the best spot on the Island to experience it! They have many different Filipino specialties readily available for everyone to try. Their usual go-to are their skewers, where you can choose Chicken, Pork, or Spareribs. Each one is cheap on its own, but is hefty in weight and in seasoning and sauces! Just one skewer is enough to hold most people over, and paired with any one of their additional sides or soups, you've got a full meal ready! Each of the skewers had tremendous flavor and great chew--they're cooked well and are fun to eat off of the skewer! The soups and sides are amazing as well--their seafood cream-soup was chocked full of flavor and was one of the best items I had on the island.
The line to order is a bit confusing when it's not busy, and it's CASH ONLY, but otherwise the breadth of choices and depth of flavor are well worth the drive over! Excellent choices and...
Read moreWow! We were visiting family on Guam during Thanksgiving break. We found this local treasure! The chicken skewers were amazing! The Shanghai Lumpia took me back to the Philippines when I was in the Navy years ago. Excellent food! Great customer service! Loved the Boonie Dogs and chickens in the parking lot. Wish we had gone back more. Family loves it as well. Would definitely go back if ever in the area. Parking was easy to access. There was a line every time we went by. The wait was not too long. They cook everything right there! I can smell the grill from here. I wish. Go if you are on Guam. I think everyone referred to it as the...
