I have been an avid supporter of local agriculture for decades--I was a first generation supporter of NOFA (when people like me who crusaded for organic agriculture were regarded as freaks and weirdos); I volunteered at the MOFGA fair year after year; I have actively crusaded for organic, sustainable agriculture since Wendell Berry's first publication of The Unsettling of America: Culture and Agriculture; I have belonged to Many Hands Farm since its inception. And, I am not a complainer, as anyone who knows me can attest. However I have to say that I was shocked to pay $6.31 for one small gala apple and 7 oz of spinach and therefore, I will no longer patronize the Atlas Farm in Deerfield. The people at the checkout were new to me, but super nice and kept people moving along fast (it was a bit busy). I miss your great store, but I'm happy to see that it is still...

There are items from an Alpaca farm which were great, but I wished they had the boot liners in one more larger size. Wanted to get them for a person who works on docks in the winter, but his shoe size is 13. They measured about the length of an 11 shoe. Also, I think a big seller would be bags of their own potato chips, seasoned with a blend of their own Herbs. I would have bought them! Great place, great prices for...
