We sat at table 13, but it was our lucky night! They were crazy packed, but we had a table quickly, and the service was pretty fast for how busy they were. Food was damn good. Beautiful town and the view was great. The ferry wasn't running but the trees and flowers were in bloom and it was quiet and relaxing. The osprey had a nest in an old pier support and it was a unique opportunity to see them fishing and caring for their partner in the nest. Wonderful little town and would like to go back for a...

Separation Day 📍 New Castle, DE The day Delaware became the first state!! Historical New Castle, DE goes ALL OUT with a celebration every year. First off- ITS FREE!! Live bands all day, so many vendors and food trucks and an amazing display fireworks to end the night. Family friendly, with some carnival rides as well. This night is one for the books. Be sure to check it out for next year at Battery Park, New Castle, DE.
