Nice spot for a walk/run, that now connects with the new stretch of the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Seems well kept, didn’t notice any litter along the route (always a plus!) There are a couple benches to take a break & enjoy the views, or do some bird watching. This is also one of few dog friendly spots in the area, as long as owners follow the common sense/responsible dog owner common curiosity guidelines: leash your dog (unless they are under voice command); pick up after them & yourselves, “leave no trace mentality” (after all you are visiting here for free, therefore no one to clean up after your mess or your dogs, and negating these suggestions are what could ruin the enjoyment for others in the future); and lastly respect other visitors and wildlife.

About 1.8 miles from parking lot around loop and back. Mostly flat with a few inclines. Lots of birds and small crabs. Entrance is near south end of old South Dennis cemetery. Follow road to houses and bear left to follow tidal river shore and marshes. Saw 3 lady slippers on trail.

Great place to get out and either use the rail trail for a bike ride or take a casual walk/ jog for some exercise while taking in views of nature and the Bass River. Parking is ample and convenient. I’d definitely go back!

This was my first time there and probably my last. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is that the scenery was pretty and I'm being nice. I saw several piles of dog poop along my walk, doesn't anyone pick up after their dog? Mysister was almost bitten by a dog as we walked by it, the owner pulled back on the leash before it made contact with her leg, also many dogs were off leash. Hopefully others will have a better experience because I read reviews before I went and...

Beautiful area with a couple of quiet, scenic hiking trails. We had to ask to find the trailhead (it's not the Cape Cod Rail Trail although you can access the trail here) and it was worth it. Beautiful views along two loop trails as well as several other paths through the woods. We were lucky enough to see a flock of wild turkeys...
