This park has a little of something for everyone and every season. During the winter Ruby Hill is the place you want to go when considering going sledding. It has a large hill, hence the name of the park, that is fun going down but a long walk to come back up. Not a hill to take very young children to as it is a rather large hill and might be a little too big or fast for very young kids. As much fun as it can be in snow, it just might be even better during warmer weather. There is a baseball field usually open that can be played on. There is an outdoor swimming pool, with a lifeguard on duty, an extensive BMX bike track that has hills, ramps and all sorts of things. Not a place for beginners but looks like fun. And a wonderful playground for children of all ages. There is a covered area with tables and benches to enjoy your food, and a porta potty nearby just in case. Plenty of parking both handicap accessible and regular. A very clean park without many problems. It is a great place to watch fireworks on the 4th of July due to its amazing vantage point and high elevation with panoramic views. Also an amazing romantic place just to park and watch the sunset, or sunrise depending on how long your date went lol. Overall a great place regardless of who you are or what you are looking for. Easily the best park in all of Denver!
