Overland Golf Course — Attraction in Denver

Didn't go to golf, but to grab a burger and a beer for an early lunch on a Friday. Wasn't busy except for those coming in for a quick bite on the go as they were rounding out their game. My husband had to approach the counter with our selections...for which the server apologized for. He was more attentive and checked up on us more frequently after this. My first beer was a little flat - so ordered a different one after the first - much better. My burger was a little more done to my liking but had good flavor...and the onion rings were tasty. Overall was surprised - as not all golf course bar/cafes are as pleasant...because it's more about the greens and the course. Nice views of the practice ranges and clean...

Whoever was working near the driving range yesterday is not a good person. He was screaming at us to tee off at 4:25pm when our scheduled time was at 4:30pm. We didn't have everyone in our group ready to roll.

The last person in our group, finished teeing off at 4:33pm and he parked his cart right behind us and was starring at us the whole entire time. - Not cool.

On the last hole, i parked near the green - (no where close)

He drives his cart out like a mad man and tells me "we ask that you park you cart 10-15 ft away from the greens"

I legit walked from the green to the cart and counted 17 ft.

Maybe he was having a bad day or something, but hopefully he's not there ever again well...

The 2 stars are because the starter was so bad. I can't imagine how an organization could keep him in a position facing the public. On the day before Thanksgiving, the course had 10am as the first start time. The nice pro shop staff said go see the starter and he will confirm my tee time placement because there could be changes related to no shows. The starter had such a bad attitude. It's like I was an idiot for asking questions about my start time and which tee i would start on. As it turns out I started with another 3-some where someone didn't show up. He had no interest in helping anyone, just souring the mood...
