Our church is a vibrant, Christ-centered community of faith, deeply rooted in Filipino heritage, yet open to all who seek to know Jesus Christ. Whether you’ve been walking with Christ for years or are just beginning to explore your faith, you’ll find a welcoming place here to grow in love, faith, and fellowship. We are a spiritual home where diversity meets unity, and where each person's journey is respected and embraced.
The Filipino Church (TFC) is blessed to be led by a visionary leader, Pastor Arnold Cubos, whose life is a living testimony of God’s mercy and grace. With a deep passion for shepherding God’s people, Pastor Arnold brings not only strong spiritual guidance but also a personal story of transformation that inspires all who meet him. His journey from humble beginnings to becoming a dedicated servant of God reflects the power of God’s redemptive love.
Having experienced God’s grace firsthand, Pastor Arnold is committed to sharing that same grace with others, guiding people toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Under his leadership, TFC has grown into a community that embraces both spiritual depth and practical outreach. Whether through inspiring sermons, personal mentoring, or leading community initiatives, Pastor Arnold’s life is a powerful example of how God can work through one person to impact many.
At the heart of our ministry is a deep commitment to living out the teachings of Jesus through worship, discipleship, and mission. We draw strength from our Filipino identity, celebrating the rich traditions, language, and cultural values that define who we are. Yet, we are more than just a Filipino church. Our doors are open to everyone in the wider Denver community, as we believe that the love of Christ transcends all boundaries.
We are inspired by the words of Psalm 133:1, "Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!" This spirit of unity and family is central to all we do. Every gathering, service, and outreach is designed to reflect God's inclusive love—a love that knows no limits and welcomes everyone with open arms.
True to our slogan, Si Hesus lang ang Bida (Only Jesus is the Focus), our church is fully committed to glorifying Christ in all that we do. This guiding principle motivates us to embark on various activities to spread the good news and serve those around us. From community outreach programs and worship services to Bible studies and fellowship events, everything we do is rooted in our mission to make Jesus known and loved.
As we seek to be a beacon of hope in our community, our church offers opportunities for you to get involved, serve others, and grow spiritually. Whether it's through our local mission projects, worship services, or simply breaking bread together, we strive to live out the love of Christ in practical, meaningful ways.
Come and be part of this journey of faith, as we grow together in the love of God and one another. We invite you to experience the joy, peace, and transformation that come from following Christ and living in fellowship...
Read moreWhich language do you speak? Actually, you know what, that doesn't matter when you're attending Sunday services at The Filipino Church (TFC).
As soon as you see the sound scriptural references on the monitor, as soon as you see the passion of the pastor (Pastor Arnold Cubos) as he preaches (squeezing in some dad jokes in his sermon), and when you feel the warmth and love from members of the congregation every Sunday, how can you not admit that you were meant to be there, in that exact place and in that exact time where God wanted you to be?
Remember when you put your Netflix movie or Amazon TV show on mute, but you could still understand and feel what was happening? That's how it is at The Filipino Church.
I was at first very hesitant to visit this Tagalog-led Sunday service due to my Tagalog being terrible (my French and Kapampangan are even worse)! And I speak straight up Seattle-PNW-US-Army-cussin'-English. I even tried to sneak away (run) immediately after service to avoid talking and mingling with people. #TrueStory
Unfortunately for me, I wasn't fast enough, and I got caught by Pastor Arnold himself in the parking lot right before I got in my truck lol. And since that Sunday (3 weeks ago), I've been blessed and thankful for the opportunity to serve God at The Filipino Church. Plus, I really like how there's always Filipino food every other Sunday after service lol.
In the beginning of this review I alluded to the notion that language barriers fade away, and anxiety is quieted, all so that I could focus on two things: 1) surrendering my life to a God who is and will always be greater than my worries, and 2) giving my all to a Christ who conquered my tomorrows.
Finally, I wish you (my dear reader) a wonderful day and the joy of God's love! All are welcome to find belonging at TFC. Come stop by and say...
Read moreThe Filipino Church is the first church that genuinely made me feel accepted. I’ve always struggled with my faith and The Filipino Church not only shares the word of God in a way everyone can understand and relate to, but The Filipino Church makes you feel like you’re a part of a family. A family that helps, supports, and worships God together. I also really love how diverse The Filipino Church is. They not only have a live english translator but they make other regions in the Philippines feel seen by offering services in various dialects. Mabuhay ang The...
