There is a small dog enclosure and a large dog enclosure. I took mine to the large dog enclosure. Yes they had poop bags and a trash can. They have water bowls and working water pump. They had benches and a nice agility course, but that's not what I came to the dog park for. Clearly I came for my dog to run around and interact with dogs. The regulars at the park act like they own the park! Their dogs are aggressive and don't know how to play. My dog couldn't even make it through second gate, after I removed the leash, without the crazy, aggressive dogs barking and growling and asserting dominance. The owners did nothing about it. Then an owner's large black dog was growling and bearing teeth. The owner did nothing to stop it and the dog began to nip at my dogs face trying to dominate. Again THIS WAS ALL AT THE GATE. My dog wasn't even all the way into the dog park. I made it very clear that wasn't going to fly with me and I gripped the other dog by his collar and removed him from my dog. The owner then decided to step in but didn't remove him from the park. The dogs continued to do this to many other new arrivals. #1: my dog is a golden retriever who is very friendly towards dogs and people. He will greet people the most. He ignored all dogs who came into the park because he was paying attention to me and playing fetch. That being said, my dog mined his own business and wasn't a nuisance. These dog owners have no regard for other people and their dogs. They don't take responsibility for their dog's behavior. If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, REMOVE THEM FROM THE PARK. IT IS NOT SAFE AT THIS PARK. The dog park in voorhees is so...
Read moreIt’s okay for a dog park and they have separate areas for big and small dogs and a water area but beware because a literal wolf visits the park and the owner doesn’t seem to care about it “bullying” other dogs. Their other dog they had bites a lot and my dog couldn’t even get into the park and once she did I had to shove the wolf off of her so we could get back out. They also had multiple young kids running around with the wolf screaming. It didn’t feel safe at all and we had to leave immediately from they situation. I won’t go back just so I can avoid it. A few older ladies said they’ve had issues with the wolf every time it’s there and the authorities won’t do anything about it. The owner himself was just following the wolf around whistling as if that would stop it from eating another dog. Be careful if you go and if you see the wolf don’t even bother trying and go to a...
Read moreDidn't even know this place was here until randomly passing it. Two fenced in areas, one for smaller dogs and one for bigger dogs. Benches so you can sit down and watch your furry one play. Good sized area in both fenced sections.
Stopped by about 830ish on a Sunday morning and there were already 4 other dogs here for mine to play with. People seemed friendly and so were the dogs. Convenient for me living in Woodbury rather than having to haul out to Timber Creek. Had trash cans on the outside with bags for picking up business.
Also in the bigger dog section, they had different agility obstacles like tubes to run in and ramps to run up. Good fun. Warning - sign says Deptford residents only, but I don't live in Deptford. And I doubt anyone's actively...
