Wonderful evening-highly recommend🌟 An expansive property with a 9-hole golf course (where the holiday light walk is), a mini golf, Marketplace shoppe, Americus restaurant for dining and large events, and a winery! -We had purchased our tickets online, got there early so ventured into their cute Marketplace store. It smelled wonderful of coffee and yummy things. We purchased a few bottles of the LaBelle wine and were lucky to meet the very lovely and friendly co-owners Amy & Cesar, which was a treat! -For our early 4:00 dinner at the Americus restaurant we were warmly greeted & seated in the cozy, upscale restaurant. Our server, John was welcoming and efficient, and the food and wine was fantastic (salad, pork loin, chicken cutlet, creme brulee). Must note that even the bathrooms are beautiful. -5:30-6:30 we had purchased for the holiday light walk…which is Spectacular!!! There were so many beautiful lighted displays to see as you walk along a paved walkway…everywhere you looked across the golf course presented a new, bright vista. There is also holiday music playing (but not blaring), so it really put smiles on our faces and made us feel thankful for such a fun evening. -The staff members were all helpful and happy for us as well. We look forward to returning, and also know they have different events throughout...
Read moreIf you’re looking to ruin your day this is the place for you. Traffic was out on 111 and not Moving. Showed up 15 minutes before our time, parked 20 minutes after our time 30+ minutes of traffic . Half of our party never made it as they had to turn around due to so much traffic. They make you pick a time slot but don’t do anything to follow it. Show up when you want or guess. 2 parking lot attendants with hands in pockets. You are funneled into the their bar and for the people that don’t want to purchase a beverage you are forced to wait in that line. Then you will be forced at the end of the light show to wait in line until people get mad enough to barge through. Spend your money else where . 0 Thought went into designing this and it turned into...
Read moreI can’t even say my family enjoyed the show bc I left genuinely feeling like I had been scammed or robbed. Everything was a ploy to suck more money out of people! WAYYYY OVERPRICED for the short walk through the path and the straw that broke the back for me was the $9 microwaved mini-waffle and the bite-sized bag of popcorn that cost $4. Absolute joke. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the elf-sized portions for the cost. Unfortunately, the overinflated costs would keep me from going back or recommending the event to others—just based on principle alone. The walk was nice, but very short and not worth the $100+ we dropped tonight. Save your $$$ and make the trip to Sandy Hill...
