We (3 adults) went on Labor Day 2022. While most businesses were closed, this awesome place was open and we were the only ones there so they were very attentive to us. The employees were very welcoming. Our tour guide was personable and very knowledgeable about the history and the area. His father had also worked at the site, so he has been there since he was 11 and he knew a lot! He answered all of our questions and let us take our time looking at everything. We highly recommend this unique farm house tour for anyone interested in history, old houses, beautiful landscape, or poetry.

Even in the off season with the historic home of Robert Frost closed the grounds and trails offer a wonderful visiting experience. It's truly like being in any of his master works written during his Derry years. At various points on the farm, signs are posted with his poems, all located at points that echo the words. My favorite is as the wood trail separates into two "the road less taken" greets you to read and ponder. The snow was deep and snow shoes made the experience possible. Volunteers worked pruning Frost's Apple trees. A very good way to spend a sunny winter day.

Had a lovely visit here in the fall! The house is full of great photos, excepts, and historical information. The staff/guide was very friendly and helpful. Bought a book as a gift for a very reasonable price! It is free to visit, but donations are welcome, which I gladly contributed. The area is in excellent shape. We enjoyed strolling along the trail around and through the woods. There were poems throughout and relevant to the locations. Plenty of parking and easy to get to! If you want to eat before or after, I recommend the Bacon Barn not too far away!

Nh residents over 65 get a free tour of the house. Otherwise, the house tour part costs $4.00. For all to see is a small gift shop and a video by Robert Frost's daughter explaining to school children how her Father taught her about poetry. She explains how easy it is for them to make poems. In the cellar are public flush toilets ( compared to those 2 seaters in house bathroom) and an assortment of well used farm tools. You can take a walk around the property and read some of Frost's poetry posted in spots outside of the house.

We weren't able to do a tour, but, I am interested enough to come back ๐ again. The grounds are well maintained. A short easy loop โฐ trail. The trail is not wheelchair accessible and I would recommend a rugged stroller. In the spring or summer, you may need bug spray. Poetry and information โน๏ธ posted along the trail. What we saw of the inside of the barn was limited. Their is history posted. Small gift shop with maple ๐ syrup for sale. Bathroom is "Whatever", another word for unisex. Picnic ๐งบ tables available. Worth a look!

Such a charming place with a rich history of a legendary American poet. Although Robert and his family only stayed here a short time you can see how influential this place was on his writing. It's definitely a must see! You can vist the garden and trail for free. You can even enjoy a picnic if you like at the tables provided. I would suggest booking the tour though so you can learn more and see the inside of the house too. Absolutely lovely for the time period.
