I was finally able to visit this place for lunch, and holy moly am I glad I did!!!! Ok, so... you walk in, order/pay at the counter, they give you a number and you find a table. Very easy, however they offer a LOT of options on their menu, so you may be in line for a bit trying to decide what to get. I ordered the birria tacos with cheese and a side of street corn- my buddy ordered the al pastor tacos. They were fairly busy (friday, 1pm) so it took about 10min or so before our food came out. Both dishes were fantastic!!!! The birria tacos had a slight crunch and was very good with the spritz of lime, and dipping in the consommé... the mstreet corn came in a little styrofoam cup and was awesome!!! The al pastor tacos bursted with great flavor, also adding a spritz of lime with the avocado sauce they provide. YUMMM!!!! I will say that this place is the real deal, no lie!! I've been to many authentic mexican restaurants all over the USA, mostly on the west coast, and southern California where this cuisine is very predominant; Los Reyes Street Tacos made me think I wasn't in New Hampshire, because Mexican food this great is very difficult to find in New England. Thank you very much! Great job to the entire staff...
Read moreMy bf and I decided to try this place after going to many other Mexican food places here in NH. This is by far the ONLY place where I have liked the food. I myself am Mexican and was raised in Mexico for a few years before moving back to CA. Mexican food is easy to come by in CA, especially when you live so close to TJ and can get authentic tacos at any time but in NH I have struggled to find any places that the food actually tastes good. This place is the exception. The food actually tasted good. The salsa was actual salsa my mom would make. It was not watered down. I had the Asada tacos and my BF had the Birria Tacos. They also have Mexican Coke and Agua Fresca de Jamaica which I have not been able to find at other places. We will come more often now to try the other items on the menu and will update 😋
The tacos are 1 tortilla tacos, I am used to having double tortillas but honestly it didn't bother me because they were bigger than the smaller street style tacos that use...
Read moreWe were highly recommended to this place by multiple people. Wow, was our experience different. We ordered and specifically asked about a carrot allergy. It was dismissed and we were told no, we do not put carrots in the food. We ordered a burrito bowl, with slow cooked beef. After a few bites, we found pieces of carrot in the bowl, we then asked again, and were told that the slow cooked beef is cooked with carrots. They apologized, and took the bowl off the bill. Then came back to tell us that the rice contains carrots also. This is a place that is waiting for a lawsuit to happen. How can you not disclose ingredients, or at least check before serving someone. They are lucky this was caught early. I would not recommend this place to anyone, the complete disregard of food safety is a problem. Dine at...
