If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I went here with 4 friends for my birthday and had SUCH an incredible time!
The weather was perfect; the obstacles were challenging enough to be fun but not so difficult that it became impossible; and ending each of the 6 courses with a zipline was such a fun little treat!
Every staff member we encountered was so charming and personable, so committed to our safety and ensuring we were having a great time.
2 members of our crew were scared of heights but worked to overcome their fears and the staff were just so sweet and patient and supportive, helping to settle their nerves.
I also like that once you get through sites 1 and 2, things get a lot more flexible and you can choose your own difficulty within certain courses or skip an entire course and just walk along below and cheer your friends on. (For example, my two scared-of-heights friends skipped Site 4 which is the tallest and most challenging, but they got a lot of good pictures and video of us from the ground which was fun.) They really do try to make it a fun experience for everyone.
We also had pizza delivered and did an escape room which we really enjoyed! A nice way to keep the party going after the treetop adventure.
I also really enjoyed the laid-back vibe there. We checked in a little late and finished the course a little later than anticipated, leading us to miss our scheduled escape room slot but they told us to take our time, get our pizza on, and find a staff member when we were ready. Such a welcome departure from the strict timelines we often encounter in our daily lives.
Also useful to note: you will go through orientation/training with others who booked in your time slot, but because it's self-paced, a natural distance forms between groups and it ends up feeling like a more private party than an outing with randos, thankfully, haha.
Excellent experience all around at Go Ape! Would recommend to anyone...
Read moreMy husband and I went to this place on July 14/2019. We had a wonderful time and the place is amazing. Unfortunately if you are someone like me who will need some encouragement and have a little of fear pray to be assigned with a different person than the one we had! He kept asking me if I wanted to stop at every step of the way after letting me to be the first one to go which took all my chances of learning from a person ahead of me of course! He walked away at some point and the young lady with him was so nice and guided me a long way building my confidence and telling me what to expect and how to do them the easy way and so. He came back and I lost it and gave up:( I asked to return/stop and on my way back still at the top he kept asking me all sorts of questions.I told him if he could let me focus and wait until I am at the ground. All the other staffs that we met were welcoming though. Long story short, there was this guy in our team who knows all the tricks but He didn't start interfering in helping me until all my confidence was damaged! Which actually disappointing because I realized I could have enjoyed our adventure more had it been a good guider assigned. On the good side though, I ended up taking a lot of pictures while my husband passed through all the steps:). We are planning to visit the other locations for more better experience now that my husband knows all...

Go, just go there with your friends and family and you find that you love overcoming and fear that heights may cause you.
I am not the biggest fan of heights but when you start climbing and zip lining, you will find the adrenaline and fun outweigh the fear.
I recently went this last weekend and found that it was everything I hoped and more. The staff gives you a safety briefing that is thorough and they do not rush you. Your guide stays with you for the first few obstacles and then other crew closely monitor the goers through other obstacles. There is never a time that you feel left 100% unattended navigating the course. The training lesson sticks with you throughout the obstacles. The obstacles include long zip lines, traversing in air steps and rings. You can choose harder obstacles or a lesser an easier to some obstacles. They did a fantastic job creating the course. The equipment is easy to use and they reiterate to always stay attached (which makes more sense when you are there). The equipment is in good shape and you genuinely do feel safe navigating the course while the adrenaline is still flowing.
I strongly recommend this place as a great thrill filled good...
