The park itself is beautiful. There's open, grassy areas and big, shady trees. As we drove through on E 32nd, we passed by many disc golfers. There were nets on our left as we drove, and then when we parked at the playground on the north side of the park, we saw even more. The sprayground / splash pad was really neat. It's designed like a tree with a bee hive that sprays water down below. Kids can also manipulate bricks to change the flow of the draining water.
Down side is that both playgrounds (north side and southeast corner of the park) looked like they need to be updated, or at least cleaned. Mild graffiti--people writing poems & such on the equipment....

There is a full disk golf course, a tennis court, a small basketball court, two playgrounds, two swing sets, some shelters, and a splash pad.
The only problem I see with the park is that the area located at the corner of East 33rd and Easton is often being used by St Joseph's Catholic School, and isn't accessible while they are using it, which is kind of unfair to all the rest of the taxpayers who pay to maintain the park as well. (You would think a private school would be able to afford their own outdoor activity area instead of mooching off of all...
Read moreVery scenic, lot of options for activitied. My 3 year old daughter and I got our first " family pictures" taken there and love them. I've gone to a couple group outings there and its perfect to all age groups, with a splash pad, play ground, picnic tables, benches, lots of shade, clean private enclosed restrooms and There's soo much more that we haven't even discovered yet!
