I don’t know what kind of service they would provide if they didn’t take the day off without notice. I Uber’d out to do some paddling and they never opened when all their signs and website said they should be open. I called the parks department and finally got someone who said that it was too hot that day. I ended up walking back to downtown Des Moines. Wasted an Uber fare and a couple of hours.
