I live in a different part of town, so I don't make it down often, but I've always tried to go at least twice a year: lasagne day, and Easter Pie day. They've got excellent products, the best sausage (it compares favorably to the stuff I used to get from my local Italian deli in New York City), an interesting selection. And I try to shop locally when I can. So I'm sorry to say that my last couple of trips haven't been great. It seemed like I was imposing on their time by bringing my family in to get some meat and cheese. Which was a shame, because this was the year I was going to teach my niece how to make my Great-Grandma Testa's Easter pie. We got there a bit late this time but we'll see you earlier next time...gotta get some of that Garlic and Sweet Sausage that you were out of today.
