Norwest Gallery of Art — Attraction in Detroit

Asia Hamilton has put together something unique and rare. An art gallery for gifted artist in the city of Detroit. I went to view an exhibit and learned a lot about the vision of this gallery, which actually started from a home. Asia herself is a gifted artist and wanted to help other artist. The home her mother had serves as a place where featured artist live for a period of time as they work on their upcoming show. Some shows are featured there as well.

Exquisite collection of art. There's always something new and different. Great events with community building efforts. Make sure you get the "Color Detroit" coloring book for friends and family. It's a great gift.

You have to check out the body worker who comes through on Mondays and Wednesdays. He's phenomenal!!!
